DevOps / Automation Engineer

You are a creative mind in the area of DevOps and GitOps. If you enjoy the automated creation of software products, then your know-how is exactly right with us. You will join a distributed DevOps team that maintains infrastructure for 10 development teams. You must be a confident contributor to both solving problems on current projects and making improvements to the overall DevOps direction within the organization. The core you stack will be Azure, Terraform, AKS, Kubernetes, but it certainly won't be limited to that.

Responsibilities

  • Expansion, maintenance and operation of the monitoring systems for our cloud infrastructure
  • Operation and monitoring of our cloud products
  • Participation in the strategic development of Internet Security
  • Supporting dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications.
  • Troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
  • Expansion and operation of our build pipeline (vision "GitOps") for the automated rollout and operation of our cloud products on Azure and on-premise
  • Researching new technologies and ways to improve and optimize our services.

Requirements

  • Ambition for automation in the area of "Infrastructure as a Service" (IaaS)
  • Experience with configuration management and automated deployment (IaC background with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container virtualization. Knowledge of containers and container orchestration (eg. Docker/Kubernetes/ContainerD)
  • Experienced in scripting such as Bash, Python, Powershell, Go, Python, Ruby etc.
  • Experience with at least two major CSPs (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Security awareness in the Internet environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
  • Comfortable communication in English, both verbal and written, with team members.

Nice to have:

  • Operating Systems on administrator level: Linux, Windows 
  • Virtualization (VMware is preferred)
  • Configuration Management (eg. Ansible, Puppet and Salt Stack)
  • Database administration. Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) NoSQL databases. Knowledge of caching.
  • General Networking understanding (switches, routing, firewalls).
  • Monitoring/Alerting/Logging Services and correlating patterns 
  • Understanding of Auth/Directory services
  • Understanding of storage concepts
  • Experience collaborating with developers and operations in DevOps enabled environments
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver projects on time.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or any field
  • Understanding (and experience) of cluster architecture systems

Tech Stack: CI\CD, Azure, IaC, Kubernetes, AKS, Terraform, Docker.
