TYMIQ  is looking for Java Developer

Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain scalable enterprise-level software product.
  • Migrate solution from previous versions of Java into the modern stack.
  • Write clean, DRY and modular code, providing proper documentation when necessary.
  • Cover code with Unit tests on organization standard level.
  • Day-to-day work with foreign development team and management.
  • Maintain release activities.
  • Collaborate with other teammates to produce deliverables.

Requirements


  • Strong knowledge of backend development with using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience in microservices development.
  • Experience in Containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).
  • Experience in Rest API design and implementation.
  • Ability and willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
  • Comfortable communication in English, both verbal and written, with team members.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with migration from previous version of Java into the modern stack
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
  • Experience with SCRUM (Agile) methodology.
  • Strong team player and individual contributor with the ability to be effective working with cross-functional teams and departments; escalation point and mentor for department staff members. 
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google cloud, etc.).
